Matthew Perry's Friends co-stars only attended a part of his memorial service
Matthew Perry’s Friends co-stars were not present for the final part of his funeral, according to reports.
Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc were photographed arriving for Friday’s ceremony at the Forest Lawn Church of the Hills, in Los Angeles. The location was made extra poignant as the sprawling graveyard is opposite the Warner Bros Studios, where the hit series was filmed for 10 seasons.
However, while the five former co-stars were amongst the small group of mourners, an insider has revealed that they were not privy to the final parts of ceremony. The latter part of Matthew’s goodbye took place at a different part of the compound in the The Courts of Remembrance, a network of several open air courtyards, and was attended by only half of the mourners.

The source told the Mail Online : "It’s a special, more secluded area. More private. That part was only attended by Matthew’s family and closest friends. Less than 20 people. After the services, friends left while his family and few others took a car up to the area where the coffin was taken and then carried into The Courts of Remembrance."

The gathering comes after Matthew's former co-stars came together to share an emotional tribute following his death. "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," they said in a statement.
In the tribute, which was shared with People, they continued: "There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
In a statement, Matthew's family also wrote: "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."
