Jess Wright has revealed she and her husband William Lee-Kemp are in the midst of renovating their home – weeks after her brother Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan finished their swanky £3.5 million Essex mansion.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Jess, 38, has revealed her home will look 'very different' to brother Mark, 36, and sister-in-law Michelle's £3.5 million Essex mansion. Mark and 36-year-old actress Michelle purchased the swanky pad back in October 2019 and have spent the past four years completely renovating the palatial pad – which is now complete with a huge swimming pool, stunning dressing room and many more impressive interiors.

After seeing her TV star brother completely transform his home, Jess and her husband William Lee-Kemp have decided to renovate their pad and has also been documenting the journey on a dedicated Instagram page, Jess Wright Home.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror at the Pride of Britain Awards last month, Jess spilled on her home transformation and revealed how her decor will be very different to that of her brother's grand pad.

Mum-of-one Jess revealed: “Watch this space because my house is being renovated so we’re… It’s not going to be house wars but they’re very different, but yeah.” Jess continued: “They are very different houses but we’re in the midst of it all now but it’s quite stressful but we’re getting there.”

While former reality star Jess says her home will be very different to her siblings', she said of Mark and Michelle's jaw-dropping pad: “It’s lovely.” When asked what her favourite part of the couple’s house is she said: “The bar area because I always get up on the mic and sing karaoke.”

In August, former Coronation Street star Michelle and her husband Mark threw an epic party to celebrate the completion of the four-year-long mansion transformation. The exclusive event, held at the couple's home, was attended by celebrity pals including Mark's bestie James 'Arg' Argent, who even performed at the party.

As they shared a video of the highlights from the party on their home Instagram page, the couple wrote in the caption: ”A long time coming. We did it!! Thanks to all our loved ones and the people that made it so special home!!”

Mark and Michelle's journey to create their dream abode hasn't come without its obstacles though as some of their lavish home updates have ruffled feathers on Instagram with one follower branding a post showing off their mansion as ”insensitive”.

They wrote: ”I would like to say your house is breathtaking and so beautiful. I feel that it's all so insensitive due to the fact millions of families with children are struggling to buy essentials and can't afford to keep warm and clean. I don't speak personally here just pointing [out] facts. Families are being slaughtered in Israel, families have been wiped out by war. There is so much more to life than just being materialistic. and it's not all about how big houses are and how much you have. Sorry but I had to say this as see this more and more people just bragging. It's very sad.”

However, many responded to defend the pair as one wrote: ”Michelle n Mark have never bragged about what they have, they both work hard 4 a living n why shouldn’t they have a beautiful home 2 live in,my lord if I get a good lottery win I will b livin like that.” [sic] Another penned: ”it’s a home account so what else would you expect? You can simply hit unfollow.” [sic]

And a third added: ”it’s a home account? To show their home, it’s very beautiful, it’s not their fault there are other problems in the world or that they are wealthy.” [sic]
