Corrie's Michael Bailey's split from known tv star and new model girlfriend

Fans were quite disappointed to find out that Coronation Street actor Ryan Russell, 40, had secretly split from his long-time girlfriend of three years, Evie Pickerill. Evie, 31, is also well known to our screens as a TV presenter, making kids smile on the BBC's Cbeebies that's been on air since 2002.

Ryan isn't new to the world of showbiz, he was just a child when he appeared on Cbeebies in 2003, only to then present the show full-time from 2017 to 2019. It seemed that Coronation Street was his big break when he joined the cast in 2019 playing Michael Bailey and enduring some tough storylines, including dealing with racism in the police.

In an interview with Digital Spy he said on this powerful storyline: "It is important because these things do happen. I watched Jermaine Jenas’s documentary, The Truth About Police Stop & Search, and it was shocking to find out that some people have been stopped 20 times during a regular day. It affects people’s mental health. Statistics show that the police tactic stop and search is biased towards Black people so it is something to have a conversation about and see how this can be changed and improved."

Ryan, who plays has recently had a huge storyline with the street's serial killer Stephen Reid. The twisted murder's reign of terror was finally brought to an end when he was killed by Peter Barlow, played by Chris Gascoyne. Ryan's character Michael has found himself in jail after his gambling addict dad won a bet without telling him, who then picked up the bag unknowingly filled with money before being caught by DS Swain. Without his father admitting the truth Michael was taken to the infamous Old Bailey then to jail, awaiting his future.

Back in his real life, after Ryan and Evie decided to call it quits they both quickly moved on to their new flames. In April this year Evie had already posted her mystery man on Instagram whilst Ryan was boo'ed up with his new boo, Sasha Tesoro, who is signed to a Manchester-based modelling agency.

According to The Sun, in March the pair followed each other on Instagram and have been liking each others pictures. Fans had noticed the new couple has been spending a lot of time together as Ryan has posted a few mysterious pictures of Sasha. Recently, the new couple spent a romantic weekend away, posting pictures of stew ingredients and their food together.
