Jenny Ryan shows off dramatic new makeover and it's worlds away from The Chase

The Chase star Jenny Ryan shared with fans her dramatic transformation for her new stage show as she plays the Wicked Queen in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

The 41 year old quiz master showcased her new look, which couldn't be further away from her usual appearance as The Vixen on the ITV show, with a video posted to her social media, generating a tsunami of comments. In the video Jenny addressed her fans saying: "Happy Halloween. If you're scared you haven't seen anything yet. Just wait til you meet me, he Wicked Queen," before adding an evil laugh at the end.

Dressed in a sequined gown with a feathered black crown perched on top of her red tresses, she teamed her look with a black and purple spear. Jenny completed her look with her trademark red rimmed glasses. Starring alongside a host of names including former X Factor star Gareth Gates, Jenny will take on the villainous role at the Darlington Hippodrome. And her fans were quick to share their thoughts. One person wrote: "You look amazing." Another said: "So scary, but still lovely." And a third person added: "Now there’s a wicked queen I’d like to meet!"

While some eagerly awaited the pantomime, others expressed their disappointment over the theatre's location. A fan said: "I wish you would come closer to me like Derby or Nottingham or Birmingham." While someone else said:" Wish you could do the Alhambra in Bradford with the legend that is Billy Pearce because my almost 8-year-old daughter adores you." It wasn't that long ago that fans inundated Jenny with praise after she revealed a very different type of transformation.

Last month the star posted a picture of herself on social media showing off her incredible weight loss. The TV personality attended the press night performance of west end's Sunset Boulevard at The Savoy Theatre and showed off a more slender frame as she posed alongside drag queen La Voix. Dressed in a satin green wrap dress, she completed her look with a statement necklace and a pair of black rimmed glasses. Jenny looked incredible as she smiled for the cameras and she captioned her post saying: "Travelling in style."

And her fans wasted no time in sending messages of praise. One person said: "Looking gorge in that dress."Another added: "Aww beautiful photo of you both Jenny awww you look gorgeous xxxx." Her new look comes on the back of a post she wrote in 2021 when she claimed that she had been fat-shamed by her GP, which left her feeling upset.

At the time she wrote: "Isn't modern life great? Your GP can now fat-shame you over the phone, so you don't have to waste time travelling and sitting in a waiting room before being made to feel awful about your own existence!" She added that her GP said: " 'Do you know your current weight?... Oh... That's *significantly* lower than last time, well done. Not good enough though, is it?'"
