Michael Jordan's son Marcus makes Larsa Pippen wedding offer to NBA legend
Marcus Jordan wants his father and NBA legend, Michael Jordan, to be the best man at his wedding with Larsa Pippen.
The request has raised a few eyebrows due to the unique circumstances and Michael's comments on their relationship. Larsa was previously married to Michael's former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen before the couple divorced in 2021.
Marcus and Larsa were recently on the podcast Pablo Torre Finds Out and discussed some of the wedding details. Marcus said the wedding was in the works and locations are still being discussed.
When Marcus was asked if he wanted his father to give a toast, he said: "You know, look, I was the best man at his wedding and at my brother’s wedding. We will keep the tradition going."

Marcus was also asked whether the wedding would be aired. He said: “Obviously, we are very private people. If it were up to me, we would do one public wedding and one private wedding for our friends and family.”
The pair have not been short of attention since their relationship started, given the contentious relationship between dad Michael and Scottie. And when previously asked if the pair had his stamp of approval, Jordan said: "No!"
Larsa herself has been honest in the fact their relationship creates an awkward dynamic. Speaking on the podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer, she admitted she has not 'hung out' with Michael.
She added: "I've only hung out with his mom, his family is very private and I feel like it's probably awkward for them, for my ex, and (Michael), but I get it. I'm not crazy. I understand it's different for them. We have our own relationship, we have our own day-to-day lives, and it really doesn't involve anyone else other than us and my kids."
The Real Housewives of Miami star and Marcus were first romantically linked to each other towards the end of 2022. At first their relationship was met with some pushback due to their age difference of 17 years. However that has not been an issue for the loved-up pair so far.
Michael and Scottie's relationship hit the rocks when the documentary 'The Last Dance' was released on Netflix in 2020. Pippen took exception to Jordan making him 'feel like a prop'.
In his memoir he wrote: "Each episode was the same: Michael on a pedestal, his teammates secondary, smaller, the message no different from when he referred to us back then as his ‘supporting cast'. They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates."
