Celebrity SAS: Matt Hancock is branded 'a good liar' in savage TV grilling

Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is ripped into for being an untrustworthy liar and likened to the Grinch - with additional expletives that he is a “cock”, “arrogant w*****” and a “lying c***”- in this week’s interrogation stage of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Interrogator Dilksy calmly rips into him for his behaviour during the pandemic, saying: “You seem like you don’t give a f***, do you like letting people down? Who else have you let down? Lying c***s like you wind me the f*** up because you f***ing look down your nose at people like me with contempt. You’ve got no power here my pedigree chum.”

From the sidelines, Foxy says: “He doesn’t like being told to shut up or being put back in his place. He’s like a Doctor Zeus character, he’s like the Grinch. I still don’t trust that smile. The thing is, your cover story could be great but if you’re coming across as a cock you’ll get battered.”

The Umpire adds: “The reality of it is he’s really good at lying. Fucking arrogant wanker. He’s going out of his way to try and win every spat, he can’t help himself. Everything is a power struggle. He needs to stop being a dick.” Talking about the interrogation stage Matt, 45, shamelessly boasts: “I’m in a profession where hostility is baked in. I’ve been interrogated by people in the most aggressive way, by people being totally unreasonable. Have you met Piers Morgan?

“This course strips you back and you have to leave it all on the line. Since I’ve been leaving it all out there... I’ve been thriving off it. That’s what it shows.” He also says: “It was really one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done and a very unpleasant experience. The only way through it was to have the same attitude that I had during the whole course, to just keep sticking around for a few more minutes all the way through, even when the interrogators were trying to rile me.”

It comes after he was called a “weasel-faced c***” by Liz Truss lookalike, interrogator Debs, while in his pants on Sunday’s episode. Other celebrities facing this week’s interrogation stage, airing on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4, are Pop Idol star Gareth Gates, WAG Danielle Lloyd, Love Islander Teddy Soares, and athlete Perri Shakes Drayton.
