BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhust shares horror at noticing receding hairline
BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst has told fans that she is suffering from baldness in an incredibly candid video posted on social media.
The BBC Breakfast presenter, who recently turned 43 and celebrated her birthday in Spain, said she only noticed that her hairline was starting to recede after she flew back to the UK. Taking to Instagram Nina, shared the news with her fans but decided to add a bit of humour to her video. In the post, the mum of three thanked her fans for their suggestions of places to visit in Menorca, but then zoomed the camera into her head to show off her receding hairline.
Speaking to her fans she said: "While we were there, I don't know whether it's the chlorine or whatnot but can we please talk about my baldiness?!" She then went on to joke that she feels as though she looks like Friar Tuck, a character from Robin Hood, who is only has a strip of hair around his head, She said: "I mean that is just next level isn't it? I feel like they're going to meet at the back. Proper Friar Tuck job." She then went on to post a story on her Instagram of her baby Nancy wearing a priest's habit. She captioned the post saying: "Had been wondering about last minute joint Halloween cozzies!"
Nina gave birth to her third child in July this year and has been enjoying spending time with her newborn on maternity leave. During her family holiday in Menorca she shared that she has put on some weight since the pregnancy but her followers were quick to reassure her on how beautiful she looked. One person said: "Well you still look stunning." Another person wrote: "Happy birthday to you, Nina! You look absolutely radiant!" A third commented: "Looking fab Nina! Hope it's been brilliant." And a fourth person added:"You look amazing Nina! Happy Birthday."
Since the birth of Nancy, Nina has been providing fans with motherhood updates and most recently she took a snap of herself out for dinner at a restaurant. Enjoying a glass of red wine and a wholesome meal, she captioned the post saying: "Happy 3 months to my little one. But here’s a photo of me.” She continued: "Because I baked her, birthed her, am growing her via my boobies, and (after some lunchtime Beaujolais) am feeling brave enough to say I feel proud of that. Very grateful to the Fates that we’ve been able to do this - but it’s not been a doddle."
