Victoria Beckham is said to be "furious" with her husband David for dragging up the Rebecca Loos affair scandal.

The football star decided to address the affair rumours in his Netflix documentary Beckham. It comes after Rebecca, who worked as David's personal assistant, claimed she had an affair with the England footballer in the early noughties. She alleged she had a relationship with him while he was playing for Real Madrid. David branded her claims "ludicrous" at the time.

He hardly addressed them in the past nearly two decades but decided to speak out in his documentary. Posh and Becks opened up about how the affair allegations impacted their relationship - with Victoria admitting they "were against each other" and struggled for a long while after it came out.

However, by opening up on their experience it has left the power couple reliving the tumultuous time. Rebecca Loos has spoken out again to give her candid response to the documentary, on Good Morning Britain. She claimed that David never actually denied having an affair with her while married to Victoria.

An insider has now claimed Victoria has blamed David for triggering Rebecca's tell-all. A source told Closer: "While Vic knows this backlash was never David's intention and she appreciates him speaking from the heart about what was a very difficult time, she's also angry that he didn't think about the consequences of bringing it up again.

"She partly blames him for Rebecca's latest tell-all which has once again created tension between them and left her panicking about what she could say next - and worries this could even encourage other women to come forward with ludicrous claims. She's so concerned she's spoken to her lawyers about what she can do to prevent Rebecca or anyone else dropping any more claims."

While a source claimed to Heat Magazine, that the couple worry they have "opened a can of worms". They said: "In the series, she spoke about resenting David for what they had to go through at that time, and in some ways, it's like she is reliving it all over again. She has found herself very angry because she feels, yet again, that David has dragged her into something she didn't want to get into."

Rebecca had previously described David as an "amazing lover" and that they "couldn’t keep their hands off each other". She said in the past: "We were just locked into each other all night conversation-wise, other people noticed… we just connected. I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong… people were aware and they weren’t very happy. He knows how to please."

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday in lengthy tell all interview, Rebecca discussed the vital parts of the story that were 'left out' of the Netflix documentary. "I would rather not have to talk about this again. I have moved very much on with my life. And when this documentary came out, and everything happened that happened after the documentary came out, I tried very hard to just let it go and get on with my life," Rebecca shared on the ITV morning programme.

"But it just really bothered me, how he's played, how we play the narrative and how misleading it is and how it's making me look like a bad person. And of course, I am also guilty. It takes two to tango." Rebecca went on to claim that David never actually denied having an affair.

"He's never denied it. He has said that my claims are ludicrous. Ludicrous is not denying - ludicrous can be truth. It is a term used by lawyers to give to their clients. When they don't want to admit to the truth. They say use the word ludicrous. It will deflect attention, but almost never denied it," she said.

In their Netflix documentary, Beckham, director Fisher Stevens asked David: "Multiple tabloid stories broke, and how did you deal with that?" as he replied: "There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."

Stevens then asked Victoria if that was the hardest time in their marriage. She said: "100 percent. It was the hardest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us. And here's the thing; we were against each other, if I'm being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else." Victoria added: "I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me."
