Laura Anderson gave Gary Lucy romance 'another go' before baby Bonnie's birth
Laura Anderson has revealed she gave her relationship with Gary Lucy 'another shot' shortly before their baby was born.
The Love Island star, 34, and ex-EastEnders actor, 41, called time on their relationship after Laura found out she was expecting their first child. However, the Scot has now revealed they agreed to give things another go shortly before welcoming their daughter Bonnie into the world in September.
Speaking about whether she will be getting back together with Gary, who was by her side during her labour, Laura said: "Well, we did try before the birth, but it’s just not really worked out so far."

Laura says the former couple are now 'friends' as they focus on co-parenting baby BonnieShe continued: "When we first got together and decided to have a baby – because Bonnie was planned – it was what I wanted. But it’s quite common for parents not to be together for whatever reason.
"And I’ve found a community, connecting with a lot of women on Instagram who’ve reached out to me and said that seeing me manage on my own has made them feel that they can do it too," reports OK! magazine.

Despite things not working out between the pair, who met while filming Celebs Go Dating, Laura says she and Gary are "friends" as they focus on co-parenting Bonnie. Pointing out "no-one knows what the future holds", she added the most important thing is that their daughter has a mother and father who love her.
The proud parents broke up at the beginning of this year, but surprised fans when they announced they were expecting a baby. Love Island star Laura, who was previously in a relationship with Dane Bowers, even took cryptic swipes at Gary on social media.
However, in August it looked like they were back on as sources claimed the reality star and the actor took a trip to the Gleneagles Hotel together.
"He flew up to Scotland to see Laura and they were spotted together at Glasgow airport," a source told The Sun. "Then the next week, they went to Gleneagles, the luxury hotel, together."
Laura even shared a snap of herself wearing a white dressing gown as she posed in the garden of the luxury hotel. She held her dog as she smiled at the camera, but one fan was a little distracted.
They wrote: "Omg I saw Gary there are you guys back together?" along with a heart emoji. It was then unknown whether they had reconciled or were simply spending time together ahead of the birth.
However, the reality star was previously adamant there was no way the two were going to get back together as she told social media followers she and Gary were "definitely not" on good terms following their split.
