Strictly's Tess Daly radiant in beautiful red dress for Halloween Spooktacular

Tess Daly stunned in a red dress for Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween Spooktacular.

The BBC show host's outfits are always a talking point on the show and tonight was no different as Tess wowed in a sparkly red dress to mark the show's spooky spectacular. Her co-host Claudia Winkleman looked great in a black dress as they both fronted Strictly's annual Halloween themed evening on the BBC Latin and ballroom show.

Tess wore a long sleeved sparkly red dress, which she teamed with red heels, whilst Claudia stunned in a black gown with big sleeves, which cinched in at the waist, for the show's Halloween episode, whilst the judges are also expected to follow the Halloween theme.

Taking to social media, fans rushed to comment on Tess and Claudia's outfits. One wrote: "Dress is gorgeous! Halloween and gothic at the same time," whilst a second added: "Utterly gorgeous - the dress is a knockout too." A third shared: "Another gorgeous dress Tess I love it," as a fourth penned: "Another stunning dress," alongside a string of Halloween themed emojis.

Host Tess loves Halloween week, citing it as one of her favourites of the whole series alongside their other specials such as Movie and Musicals week. Speaking ahead of the series, she revealed: "I always look forward to all of our specials; musicals, movies, and Halloween. The hair, make up and costume team surpass themselves each time. And of course Blackpool is a real milestone, not just for the celebrities, but for us too. It’s a real highlight in the series and the whole team decamps up north. When it comes to dance my favourite has to be the Argentine tango; when it’s executed perfectly, you can cut the air in the studio with a knife."

Claudia loves picking her outfits for the show, admitting it's one of her favourite things. Asked ahead of the series what she was looking forward to, she said: "The thing I am most looking forward to this series is us all being together. I love standing next to Tess and love trying on sparkly outfits. And I cannot wait to watch these people learn to dance."

The pair are very close and have a pact that if they leave the show, they will do it together. "I am totally happy where I am at. I am not at the top but I am incredibly grateful for what I have. Imposter syndrome, I’ve got it in capital letters," Claudia had said in 2019, "Tess and I will leave at the same time," she said. "We’ve made that pact over pizza. We’ll go together, whenever they’re done with us. Even if they phoned me now and said, ‘You’re done’, I’d still think I have had the best career possible."
