Mark Wright has been embracing the winter chill on a luxury winter getaway to the French Alps.

The former TOWIE star, 35, is steering clear of the January blues on a skiing break in France.

As the rest of us shove the decorations into the attic and prepare to go back to work, Mark has been living a life of luxury on a stunning snow-filled holiday.

The ex-reality star is in Val Thorens area of the French Alps, staying at the swanky Village Montana resort, according to his frequent Instagram updates.

His followers have been struggling to shrug off the green eyed monster as the telly personality gave them a glimpse into his luxury holiday with pictures and videos on his Instagram.

A stay at the resort chain – which also has a branch in the A-List-magnet area of Val-d'Isère – could have set Mark back thousands depending on how lavish he decides to be with his accommodation choice.

According to their website, a stay in a standard room costs a minimum of £480, while a four-bedroom residence could set the star back over £4,000 for a two-night break.

The resort houses all the facilities guest could need, including 70 open slopes and a plush restaurant, where gourmet dishes of veal confit, milk-fed lamb and salmon gravlax with lemon caviar could set the Heart Radio DJ back a pretty penny.

Mark also has the option of indulging in some post-slopes relaxation as the onsite spare offers a comprehensive after-ski massage for an eye-watering £240.

Mark posted a story to Instagram on Monday of himself filming his stunning surroundings from a ski lift.

Focusing in on his skis dangling down beneath him, he lifted the camera to capture the scenery, panning the lens around the slopes and snowy mountains.

He also captured another person's skis next to him, but didn't disclose whether wife Michelle Keegan was with him.

He typed the caption: "Start as you mean to go on 2023", and tagged the location as Courchevel, Rhone-Alpes, France as a cover version of Heaven Is A Place On Earth played in the background of the story.

Mark uploaded a second story, of him visiting a bar up in the mountains.

Away from his fancy digs, Mark chose to unwind by drinking local Brasserie Du Mont Blanc beer.

With no expense spared, every 75 centilitres of the beverage, this could set Mark back nearly £9.

He later showed the establishment’s wooden outdoor deck which was fitted with chairs and tables set for dinner, as he focused the camera in on a huge exotic seafood platter on a long banquet table.

The winter ski trip comes after Mark and Michelle celebrated their first Christmas in their new luxurious mansion together.

Mark took to social media to share a short clip of their home decorated for the festive period.

The couple hired a professional company to put up lights to the exterior of their home and hang large wreath garlands around the entrance.
