Love Island star Sam Gowland took aim at brutal bullies ripping apart his 'terrible' Turkey teeth as fans say they look like a "gum shield".

Followers joked Sam's gnashers look like "piano keys" as they couldn't believe what the reality TV star had done to his smile. The former Love Islander, known for his antics on the show in 2017, paid more than £6,000 for the cosmetic surgery.

Sam's vicious veneer complaints clearly cut deep as he took to his TikTok page to rant over the cruel comments. He defended his daring dental work, telling fans it was carried out by "the best people in the world" for a full set of pearly whites.

"Getting a bit p****d off to be honest with you, with every single time I do a TikTok or I do a video, and people are commenting, and I know it's for attention," he insisted. "People commenting saying 'worst teeth I've ever seen, they look like a pack of chewing gum, they look like a gum shield, they look like piano keys'"

Furious Sam continued: "The teeth cost £6,000 to get done, there is a reason they cost £6,000, it's because I went to the best people in the world to get them done, I said I went to Turkey because that's where the best veneers are."

He insisted his straight smile was "perfect" and "so white", adding: "Look at them, how can you say that they do not look good, they are so white, they've got the perfect size gap in between the shape."

"It's absolutely perfect and there's a reason people keep stopping me, saying 'where did you get your teeth done' because they look so natural, that's what I got, the natural look so people please stop commenting saying stuff about my teeth, it's so annoying. They're good man, what is wrong with people!"

It's not the only cosmetic transformation Sam's had, only recently showing off his swollen face after undergoing a beard transplant. He underwent the procedure after feeling insecure over his lack of facial hair, admitting that he found it almost impossible to grow hair on the sides of his face.

Sam, who also previously starred on Geordie Shore, took to Instagram to share photos before he underwent the transplant. The snaps pointed out the areas on Sam's face where he found it hard to grow facial hair.

"Off to get my beard transplant," he told fans last year. "So, this is me as of now. Great middle admittedly, but the sides refuse to grow properly." After undergoing the procedure, Sam returned to his Instagram stories to give fans a look at the finished result.

At the time, Sam appeared on his stories with a swollen face and looked almost unrecognisable to fans as he detailed his beard transplant. With his face wrapped in an array of bandages, Sam told his followers: "Update featuring my very very swollen face.

"So, I look like The Mummy. I'm halfway through, I shaved the back of my head. I numbed it first, it didn't hurt. They put the hair in a tub over there and injected my face, which is very numb." He explained that surgeons were placing the hair in his cheek in a bid to fulfil his wishes.
