The mood among the Arsenal faithful is somewhat mixed considering the Gunners have lost just one game in all competitions this season.

However, Mikel Arteta's men are yet to hit the heights they did last term, with Arsenal struggling to recreate the attacking prowess that saw them blow opposition sides away last season. In turn, fans have questioned if the side are in a position to steal Manchester City's Premier League crown come the end of the campaign.

Next up for the Gunners is a home clash against bottom-placed side Sheffield United, a tie that the Emirates faithful will feel is a must-win. Nine league games so far has seen a return of six wins and three draws, placing Arteta's side third in the table, two points behind local rivals and table-toppers Tottenham.

With that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at all of the main Arsenal headlines on Friday, October 27.

The Gunners icon has heaped praise on Warren Zaire-Emery and believes he has "no limit" - less than a year since it was reported that Arsenal wanted to sign the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

Zaire-Emery enjoyed a standout performance for the French giants during their 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night. French outlet RMC Sport claimed back in January that Arsenal were 'particularly insistent' on signing Zaire-Emery, who was only 16 at the time.

"The way Warren Zaire-Emery is playing, it is just normal to run the show (for a) 17-year-old," Henry told CBS Sports after the teenager's most recent outing. "He was the only one who held his own at St James' Park.

"He has been magnificent at the moment. Sky is the limit. I have never seen a player that young being so mature. This guy has no limit, for me."

Gary Neville's title claim

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has stood by his assessment that Arsenal will win the Premier League this season.

During a Q&A session on social media, Neville made clear he believes the Gunners will be champions, though he did make clear that league-leaders Spurs are the side that have surprised him the most so far this term. Arteta's men of course led the table for the majority of the campaign last time out, only to capitulate late on.

Speaking before a ball had been kicked this summer, Neville insisted that his belief in Arsenal's title credentials stemmed from the fact he feels City winning four in a row is unlikely. He claimed: "Just because of the three things and never winning the fourth, I am going to go with Arsenal to win the league.

"I'm going for Manchester City second, Manchester United (third), Liverpool (fourth), Chelsea (fifth) and Aston Villa (sixth)."

The World Cup winner was on the pitch for Arsenal's 2-1 Champions League win against Sevilla on Tuesday night and was clearly impressed. Goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus were enough to put Arsenal top of Group B.

“In one against one we had chances to hurt them, knowing that Arsenal are a team that wants to play football, that leaves a lot of space on the line to take advantage of those losses that we sometimes found, but we did not capitalise well enough,” Ramos explained.

“I think that in the end we played face to face, both against Real Madrid and Arsenal. It is true that it is difficult not to see a difference before we played the teams that, for me, currently play the best in Europe. And playing face to face with this type of team and knowing that they create from the back and want to create by playing football from the goalkeeper’s kick, is not easy.”
