Amanda Abbington's fiancé shared a cryptic quote today following her exit from Strictly Come Dancing.
The Sherlock actress quit the BBC Latin and ballroom show earlier this week after missing the previous weekend's performance. In an emotional Instagram post, Amanda admitted she had to depart the show for personal reasons but sources have suggested that she decided to quit the show after struggling with professional partner Giovanni Pernice's training style.
In a post on Instagram which was shared with her 140,000 followers, Amanda wrote: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue.

Jonathan posed a cryptic quote today (Instagram)"It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside."
She added: "I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them. I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you. xxx."

However, she failed to mention Giovanni, leaving fans puzzled. He had penned a message to her on social media, saying he was "so sad" they couldn't continue on the show. He wrote at the time: "Amanda .. I am so sad we can’t continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love @amanda_abbington74 @bbcstrictly."
Today, Amanda's partner Jonathan Goodwin posted a cryptic quote about icebergs, which he shared with his own Instagram followers. It mentioned not judging a person or a situation as people might not know what's going on below the surface.
Taking to Instagram, Jonathan shared a picture of an iceberg on his Instagram story, with a quote written over it, which read: "When you see an iceberg you could be forgiven for not realising just how much is below the surface. The same is true of people. Don't be quick to judge a person or situation if you don't know what's below the surface."
This weekend will mark the first show since Amanda quit the programme. Giovanni is expected to appear as part of the group dances and is likely to be in the studio, cheering on the others who are still fighting out to win the iconic Glitterball Trophy.
