SKIMS drops new menswear collection and it's modelled by 'hunky' sport icons
Kim Kardashian’s billion dollar company SKIMS reinvented underwear and shapewear for women, and now the brand is doing the same for men with three new collections; Cotton, Stretch and Sport.
From technically constructed briefs and ultra-soft boxers to comfy tank tops, tees and leggings SKIMS is finally bringing its innovative design approach on fabric, style and fit to the men’s category - and all collections are available to shop online from today (October, 26) at 12pm here.
Earlier this week SKIMS blessed our eyes and screens with their latest ground-breaking campaign featuring popular sports stars Neymar Jr, Nick Bosa and NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, showing off their rock-hard abs in pieces from the latest menswear collections - it’s safe to say Kimmy K knows exactly what she’s doing.
Neymar can be seen wearing a pair of army green SKIMS Sport 5” Boxer Briefs which are priced at £24, and are available in three different colours. In the photo, he pairs the shorts with the matching army green Sport Men’s T-shirt which can be found here, and retails for £44.
If that wasn’t enough to get your hearts racing, NFL player Nick Bosa then jumped in front of the camera, showing off his muscles donning a white Cotton Tank Top (£68) from the cotton collection, and a pair of white Boxer Briefs which sell for £18.
Kim Kardashian weighs in on sister feud after Kourtney's sad 'outsider' claimsShai Gilgeous-Alexander then showed off his 6-pack in a topless snap, wearing just the £54 SKIMS Mens Sport Leggings which have been designed to support and enhance movement, and made with moisture-wicking stretch fabric.
In a press release, Founder and Creative Director of SKIMS, Kim Kardashian said: "The expansion into the menswear space is a major milestone for the brand, and a testament to SKIMS’ commitment to providing solutions for everybody.
To have an icon like Neymar be the face of our launch campaign, along with NBA All-Star, Shai and NFL’s top Defensive Player Nick, I think speaks volumes to the way SKIMS has evolved into becoming a brand that can provide comfort for all audiences, not just for women.”
Kim added: “I am incredibly excited about this next chapter for SKIMS and cannot wait for everyone to experience our amazing range of products.”
The SKIMS Men’s range is made up of three collections; Cotton, Stretch and Sport.
Cotton features essentials built from a soft, mid-weight cotton blend with built-in recovery for comfortable, everyday wear.
Stretch items will never lose their shape. This lightweight, ultra-soft collection is constructed from a maxim-stretch fabric for the perfect fit and great movability.
Sport is designed to specifically aid performance. This collection of lightly compressive base layers is engineered to sit seamlessly under workout clothes for maximum comfort and support.
Available to shop exclusively on SKIMS.com starting from today (October 26th), sizes range from XS-5X with prices ranging from £16-£54 for single pieces and £42-£98 for packs.
Now, we know it's not the cheapest underwear out there, so if you're looking for better value, but still great quality, M&S is a great place to shop for men's basics. You can pick up a five-pack of cotton cool and fresh stretch trunks for just £28 and pure cotton t-shirts for just £8, or buy three for £22.
