Love Island star, 32, shares fertility journey as she undergoes treatment
Love Island contestant India Reynolds says she feels like she's been "winded" as she shares her egg-freezing experience with fans.
India, who appeared on the 2019 series of the ITV reality show, announced she was starting her fertility journey back in January. She's opened up about her current bout of treatment on Instagram, which she is undergoing at Kings Fertility clinic in London. The medical centre offers a range of fertility services, including egg freezing, surrogacy and In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
The 32-year-old posted a series of photos from the last two weeks, showing herself injecting her own abdomen, receiving IV drugs and with her various medications. Captioning the images, India explained: "Egg freezing in pictures. The last 2 weeks have been a journey to say the least! Thank you @kingsfertility for being amazing throughout.
"Thank you also to everyone that's messaged support it's really really helped with morale and made me feel so much less alone, it's not an easy journey and I'm sending lots of love to anyone going through fertility treatment. I hope you all get the best results possible! There's loads more info in my highlight if you'd like to know more, and I'm planning a Q&A with my doctor for all the things I couldn't answer."
India added: "And a special thank you to @imreynolds__ couldn't have done it without you, you're the best nurse anyone could wish for, and I'm lucky enough to have you as a cousin." India also went into detail about how she's been feeling on her Instagram Stories, giving followers first-hand insight into the reality of going through IVF.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingShe revealed she wasn't feeling her best physically, telling viewers: "I'm over being uncomfortable and bloated. It kind of feels like I've been punched in the stomach, you know like winded. So yeah that is absolutely fabulous. I am hoping it will be going down by the end of today like my boobs don't hurt as much anymore. They no longer feel like I am having pins stuck in my nipples so that's stunning."
India doesn't seem to have a partner at the moment after she split from her Love Island partner Ovie a few months after leaving the show in 2019. On her highlights, India answered questions from followers about her egg-freezing journey. One inquisitive fan asked: "Is there a reason why you haven't settled down with someone to start a family?" India's honest reply read: "I've tried, if you have any tips, let me know."
Another asked her about the emotional toll the treatment has taken on her, saying she feels more positive than she did the first time. India wrote: "When I did it in March, I found it so so hard. I recorded so much to make a YouTube video about it but I'm crying in every video and can't even watch them! I think it’s kind of expected with all the hormones."
