A missing woman found dead inside a parked car at Asda last night has been named as Lynn-Marie McCoy.
Police raced to the store in Walton, Liverpool at around 8pm after receiving a report of concern for welfare. Paramedics also attended, but sadly the 59-year-old, from West Derby, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A white forensics tent was erected around the vehicle and a cordon put in place. Lynn-Marie was last seen by her family on Monday at around 2pm, and Merseyside Police put out a missing person appeal the next day. Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
