Britney Spears 'pressured' to share secrets as she 'needs the money'
Britney Spears was reportedly put under pressure to share her secrets in her new book as she “needs the money”.
The 41-year-old singer, who has just recently endured a shock split from her third husband Sam Asghari, has been laying low as excerpts from her memoir The Woman In Me were released, and on Tuesday, the book finally hit shelves around the world. Fans and critics were delighted with the explosive details that emerged, with one dubbing it a “feminist horror story” as Britney described life under her conservatorship.
However, others are still concerned about the Womanizer hitmaker, and celeb blogger Perez Hilton believes Britney is “lonely”, and he’s worried the pop icon has been forced to sell her story because there’s “no one else she can turn to”.

Talking to Closer magazine, he said her fans are desperate for the Toxic hitmaker to “have the happy ending she deserves”, but her erratic behaviour could put off future boyfriends. But that isn’t the only thing he’s worried about, as he revealed Britney was “under a lot of pressure” to sign the multi-million dollar deal with book publishers for The Woman In Me. “I think she had a lot of pressure from her publisher to share secrets that we didn’t know - I hear Britney needs the money,” Perez stated.

The explosive memoir details Britney’s relationship with Justin Timberlake, including her devastating abortion when she was 20, as well as her underage drinking with mum Lynne, as she revealed she drank daiquiris at the age of 13. The one thing missing from her book is her marriage - and subsequent divorce - from Sam Asghari, as the memoir was already finished when Britney split from the personal trainer.
It’s believed the stuntman won’t receive a penny from her hotly-anticipated book, which is expected to rake in millions for the Grammy-winning singer, as the couple signed an iron-clad prenup that protected her fortune.
Elsewhere in the interview, Perez also speculated on Britney’s love life, and suggested she’ll find it hard to find a partner after sharing risque videos on social media. “Not to be a pessimist, but what guy would want to take on Britney Spears? Only somebody who wants to use her and who wants to benefit in various ways by doing so,” he claimed.
He cruelly alleged Sam “wasn’t capable of dealing with an unmedicated Britney”, and said their relationship turned toxic as the singer “didn’t have any support system besides him”. Perez went on to speculate Britney will jump into another relationship quickly because she’s “craving love”.
