Rachel Stevens has revealed she's preparing to share every inch of her life in a memoir.

The S Club singer shared her announcement weeks after her former bandmate Hannah Spearritt confirmed she will also be spilling all the gossip in a new book. Rachel is currently touring the nation with her bandmates, who underwent an identity rebrand from S Club 7 to just S Club following Hannah's exit and the sad death of Paul Cattermole.

Hannah released Facing The Music earlier this month with her memoir already being flogged by fans on the internet auction site, eBay. Next year, Rachel's side of the story will hit shelves and she's hinted that nothing is off limits following her split from her husband Alex Bourne last year.

Sharing the news with her fans on Instagram, the Sweet Dreams My LA Ex singer wrote: "Hi everyone, I am SO excited to finally announce that behind the scenes, I've been working on a brand new, very personal project… I've written my first-ever book! FINDING MY VOICE: A Story of Strength, Self-Belief and S Club 7 will publish on the 25th April next year.

"There's so much I haven't had the confidence to share before now. I can't wait to let you in and share my story with you all." Her post was met with a warm response from fans as they rushed to congratulate Rachel in the comments.

"I am so very proud of you my person, I can't wait for you to share your story," said one follower. As a second went on to add: "I need at least three chapters on Come And Get It alone. So excited for this!" Another typed: "Can't wait to read it, Rach!! You've always been a huge inspiration!"

But one fan is keen to know Rachel's views on her solo career, including her second solo album – Come and Get It, which was released in 2005, featuring tracks including Some Girls. They penned: "I hope there'll be some insight on your solo years and staying in LA and stuff, not just S Club. Come and Get It is such a masterpiece. It would be interesting to know If you were disappointed with how it charted but also if you were overwhelmed by all the rave reviews or If you picked up on it."

Come and Get It charted at number 28 on the Official UK Albums Chart. While Rachel is currently on tour with S Club, Hannah appears to have hinted that she won't get back on stage with the group. She told The Sun: "Will I ever perform with them again? I just don't know, I'm glad that the tour is still going ahead and the songs will live on, but now I'm looking forward, not backwards."

She is said to have addressed her decision to walk away from the Reach hitmakers in order to prioritise her friends and family.
