Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were reportedly seen out on a date night recently

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were seen together enjoying a date night over the weekend and they appeared to be very affectionate with each other.

The rumoured couple - who have worked together on the upcoming film adaptation of the musical Wicked - are said to have been spotted out in New York City together on Saturday at the MO Lounge.

Photos seemingly show Ariana, 30, and Ethan, 31, sat together at a table close to a window, with skyscrapers visible in the background. It has been suggested that the pair were very affectionate during the evening out together just days ago.

TMZ, who obtained the photos, reports that sources have said the pair appeared to be having meal at the lounge, which is located inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The outlet said it's been told they were "super flirty and touchy-feely".

It adds that sources said Ariana showed more affection during the evening, with her having reportedly "kept getting up" from her seat to go directly by Ethan's side. She reportedly kissed him on occasions during the apparent date. The pair are said to have been at the venue for almost two hours.

Ariana and Ethan have attracted much attention over the relationship, which comes ahead of the Wicked film adaptation being released in two parts. It's been reported that the pair are now living together in New York City.

The apparent romance is said to have come following the end of their respective previous relationships. It was reported in July that Ethan had filed to divorce his estranged wife Lilly Jay. It was reported last month that Ariana and her estranged husband Dalton Gomez have also filed for divorce.

Ariana reportedly separated from her husband Dalton in January. There had been speculation about the marriage after Ariana was spotted without her wedding ring at Wimbledon in July. Amid speculation, a source once told the Daily Mail: "There was no cheating, no resentment between them, the marriage just simply didn't work out. These things happen".

Discussing Ariana and Ethan - who are understood to have met whilst working on Wicked, which was filmed in the UK - a source recently told Us Weekly: "They're really happy and really good for each other. All of her friends love him."
