TV assassin Jodie Comer has killed it on the home front by leaving her parents’ place and snapping up a posh property.

The 30-year-old Killing Eve star’s new pad in North London’s classy Hampstead is close to the homes of singer Harry Styles and comedian Ricky Gervais. It is a far cry from Jodie’s family home in Childwall, Liverpool, where the actress spent the pandemic with her parents, James and Donna.

A source said: “Jodie is incredibly close to her family but she decided she wants her own place. Now she has taken the plunge and moved out. She fell in love with a place in Hampstead and is enjoying making it her own.” Jodie, who starred in the award-winning TV thriller Killing Eve with Sandra Oh, told in 2020 how much she loved living at home.

She said: “I’d live with my parents until I was old and grey if I could. I recognise I need my own space and independence. I just don’t want to do it.” The actress, who is thought to have recently split from lacrosse star James Burke, said of moving back home during the pandemic: “To have a bit of stillness and be stationary… I’m a bit embarrassed to say I’m kind of enjoying it.” Jodie has won scores of awards for both Killing Eve and the one-woman play, Prima Facie.
