Brassic star Neil Ashton says he wants Michelle Keegan to arrange a cameo for husband Mark Wright on the series - but fears he might be too handsome.

Neil, who previously starred in It's A Sin, plays Davey in the Sky comedy. And he told us: "Michelle is one of the loveliest people. And Mark as well, they are so good together, those two. They have really lovely chemistry. I've known Michelle a lot longer, so when you hear about someone you always hope they're going to be nice. Has he ever had a cameo? I don't know, I'll message Michelle and ask her. He's too handsome though - far too good looking."

Neil went on: “I feel very blessed to be on the show. It has real slapstick comedy, but also really beautiful storylines. And we have so much fun during filming. There’s a lot of corpsing that goes on, we’re all guilty of it. I’ve had a lot of times when my shoulders have started shaking during filming. We have a wrap party each year with a blooper reel, which is always hilarious.”

Neil has revealed more than most during his time on the cult comedy - thanks to his character's love of walking around semi-naked. But he opened up about a crippling condition he suffered as a teenager known as gynecomastia - the enlargement of male breasts. And he told how it is now crucial for him to raise awareness of the condition. He added: “I’ve been quite open about this, because of lots of people haven’t heard about it. And since I have spoken, I’ve had so many people get in touch with me about it. It really is so common, and I think people - especially parents - need to know about it.”
