Big Brother fans furious as they all share same complaint after second eviction
Viewers of Big Brother UK were left decidedly unimpressed with last night's episode despite the programme being extended by 15 minutes to facilitate the 'drama.'
Thousands tuned in to see who would be the second housemate to get evicted. And despite Zak getting the boot, many fans said that the show left a lot to be desired. Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best confirmed that more than one million votes were cast this week during a live announcement from the house.
And after he left, Zak told AJ: "It was a bit nerve-wracking. Not that I expected it, but I was excited to have people cheering." He added: "People must have thought I was a game player, but I know the real me." The programme - which was extended to 75 minutes long - saw housemates take part in a takeaway-style task.
Elsewhere in the show, Hallie was forced to wear a huge 'rule breaker' costume after she discussed nominations with the other housemates. However, even with all this, many viewers took to social media to slam the show. Furious fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to slam the show with many dubbing it "boring."
One person said: "Week 3 has to be more than Kerry being nominated and leaving in a single eviction. Boring. Big Brother, over to you." Another added: "Big Brother is going to get boring fast at this rate #BBUKDiaryRoom." A third penned: "After yesterday's drama, today's episode is very dry. Let's just get the eviction over with."
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundaries"Sorry but this is boring af," one viewer wrote. Another added: "Can they get on with the bloody eviction already." One person said: "Big brother is getting so boring." Speaking about the show, an X user wrote: "Not a fan of the “spill the tea” house meeting Big Brother is FORCING housemates to have tomorrow. It screams producer manipulation to stir the pot and cause drama… let it unfold naturally cause it’s boring otherwise."
Earlier this week, Olivia faced punishment for breaking the rules alongside Hallie after the pair communicated in a secret code. The pair were called out in front of everyone after Hallie traced letters on Olivia's back to signal her thoughts on Zak and Matty.
And Kerry faced backlash this week after she used the word 'gay' in a negative context. She was heard making the comment during an ITVX livestream. She survived the first eviction after going up head-to-head with Farida Khalifa, who was the first housemate to be sent home. After she left, the make up artist admitted that she had a game plan.
Farida said that she wanted to gain followers off the back of the show and subsequently grow her business. She then admitted to being "all me, me, me" during her stint in the house.
