Noel Gallagher spotted 'deep in conversation' on date after marriage split
Noel Gallagher has set tongues wagging that he is dating again following his shock marriage split after being spotted out on a romantic date with an attractive brunette.
The 56-year-old Oasis rocker was spied at upmarket hotel Kettners in Central London in the company of a woman who shares a striking resemblance to Noel's soon-to-be ex-wife Sara MacDonald. The Don’t Look Back In Anger star was said to be in high spirits as he relaxed with his female companion.
Noel and the mystery woman were joined by the chart topping singer’s good friend James Cook and his singer-songwriter girlfriend Emma Deigman - who performs under the name Edie. Onlookers claimed that the pair looked like they were getting on like a proverbial house on fire.

Onlookers who witnessed her with Noel in London’s Soho neighbourhood were struck by her likeness to the Roll With It star’s soon-to-be ex-wife. Both Sara and Noel's mystery woman have luxurious, long-brown locks and photographs show they have a similar frame. However, it has not been suggested Noel and his companion were anything more than acquaintances at the meeting on Thursday.

The rock star was married to Scottish publicist Sara in 2011 - having met in Ibiza in June 2000. The couple share two sons together; 16-year-old Donovan and 13-year-old Sonny. The couple stunned fans when they announced in January this year that they were going their separate ways. A spokesperson confirmed news of a split at the time, saying in a statement: “Noel and Sara will together continue to look after their children who remain their priority. Noel and Sara asked the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”
Noel later opened up about his divorce plans, telling The Big Issue in May: “I know a lot of people in the same boat as me and Sara. Particularly after the pandemic. It’s not uncommon for people who have been in long-term relationships to go their separate ways in their 50s." He cryptically added: “When you get to your mid-50s, you do come to some kind of crossroads in your life. The midlife crisis thing is true for men and women.”
Noel was previously married to model Meg Mathews - tying-the-knot in June 1997 and welcoming a daughter named Anaïs in January 2000. The couple split that same year and their divorce was finalised the following year - clearing the way for Noel to go on and marry Sara.
