Actor Dwayne Johnson has a new wax figure, but fans aren't happy about it

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson’s new waxwork has been unveiled in Paris, and it's safe to say that fans are completely baffled and mostly unimpressed on the whole.

The 51-year-old American actor, producer, and professional wrestler now has a waxwork figure in the famous Musée Grévin, which is located in Paris, France. And despite the iconic actor being the first wrestler to get a waxwork in the museum, not all fans are best pleased with the final result.

The replica of the Moana star was unveiled to the public this week, with some fans quick to air their opinions online. The museum took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the waxwork, with them penning a caption that read: "First day for Dwayne Johnson at Grévin, already in the spotlight with our visitors. Are you going to visit him?"

One person commented: "Who is that?? Looks like Mr. Clean. Fix him." While another said: "This doesn't even look like him. Had I not known who this was supposed to be, I'd be confused."

Others were quick to point out how the waxwork was "missing melanin", with many quick to point out how his father was a Black Nova Scotian, and how his mother is Samoan. "They have to make it darker," penned one. While another said: "Who is this because uhhhh... You do know he's Samoan and black right lol?"

Meanwhile, on Twitter, which is now known as X, one person penned: "They made a waxwork of The Rock, but who the f**k is this Caucasian man in front of me? The Stone?" While someone else joked: "Why is the Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson waxwork a sharp-tongued Liverpudlian bouncer who throws a mean dart, and dreams wistfully of a life as a stand-up comic?"

This comes after we reported that the iconic actor and wrestler gave one young fan who has cancer a priceless gift as he paid tribute to her on Instagram. Just last month Dwayne uploaded a touching compilation video to his account of his meeting with young Luna Perrone who is suffering with Ewings Sarcoma.

The clip features moments from when the pair finally met a few weeks ago as well as several clips from Luna's health journey.
