Here is the more heavily contoured look using the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Sun Kissed Glow Bronzer

Have you ever had one of those lifechanging products that you have used for years and never found anything even remotely good enough to contend? I get like this with make up, with the contents of my make up being products I have struggled to ever steer away from.

I will always have a freshly sharpened Rimmel brow Pencil, a trusty Maybelline back up mascara and Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection sheer loose powder stashed in my make up bag- and i'm yet to find other brands that I want to religiously use in the same way.

But with a cream bronzer, this product is a new one for me now that I have 30-plus years old skin. I have always sworn by using powder products to eradicate my quite oily skin but now I am in desperate need of keeping my skin looking and feeling hydrated.

I ordered a budget and luxury brand to see which I preferred- and my findings may surprise many.

I have been extremely lucky to try out some of Charlotte Tilbury's products over the last month or so, and in all fairness- they have mostly been incredible.

I have found that purchasing Charlotte Tilbury comes with many benefits including colour pay off, coverage and velvety textured liquids/bronzers on the skin. But, if I was to choose between a Charlotte Tilbury Cream Bronzer and Collection Cosmetics Cream Bronzer- Collection Cosmetics wins hands down. Here are a couple of reason's why.

I was wearing the Charlotte Tilbury religiously throughout the summer, but felt myself constantly reaching for less and less product because the consistency was very thick and felt quite heavy on the skin. It is very easily blendable so it still worked incredibly well for a daytime or evening look- I just had to be careful of the amount I was using. Also, although I do enjoy a full make up look, the sheer finish that the Collection Cosmetics cream bronzer gives is more suitable for my skin- I enjoy the fact that I can build up more colour with blush and conceal the areas that need a little more tending to without needing to apply too much bronze to finish the overall look.

Collection Cosmetics for me is so glowy that I use much less products over the top, too. The natural, fresh faced look this product gives makes my skin feel much more youthful than Charlotte Tilbury's.

Most talked about alternative brand

There are alternatives that are available in the same price bracket from various retailers as the Collection Cosmetics and Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzers, including the new Refy Cream Bronzer which is the latest product line on the market which many beauty influencers swear by.

The Refy brand has made such a huge mark on the beauty industry since founder Jess Hunt, a fashion & beauty instagram influencer launched her incredibly popular line in 2020. If I had to pick a product I would highly recommend without even trying, it would be the Refy Cream Bronzer range. I have tried the Refy brow gel (which I swear by to really shape my fluffy brows on a daily basis) and the Refy Lip Gloss is an absolute dream.
