The release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder is almost upon us, and Currys' 25% discount off the game is the lowest pre-order price we've seen.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder pre-orders have been available since the game was first revealed back at the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, and with the game set to release on Friday, Currys is offering 25% off the title's £49.99 price point, bringing it down to £37.49, and this is the cheapest price we've seen anywhere. But, the discount code will expire at midnight on Thursday, October 19, so you'll have to be quick to take advantage.

We gave Super Mario Bros Wonder a 5/5 score in our review, with Mirror Gaming's Scott McCrae saying that "thanks to the inventive gameplay tweaks, and the absolutely gorgeous visuals and animation, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the best 2D Mario since the SNES era, and a strong contender for the best one yet."

  • Super Mario Bros Wonder at Currys – £37.49 with the promo code WONDER25

Super Mario Bros Wonder costs £49.99 – the price you'll find the game for on Amazon, Game, Smyths, and the Nintendo store. the Super Mario Bros Wonder pre-order deal on Currys knocks the price of the game down by 25% from £49.99 to £37.49 by using the code WONDER25 (expires midnight on Thursday, October 19) for a total discount of £12.50.

Super Mario Bros Wonder arrives on October 20, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, and considering how long it takes Nintendo games to go on sale, a price cut this generous is surprising. It's even cheaper than the price Nintendo is offering direct.

To put this discount into context, the cheapest we've seen a Super Mario Bros Wonder pre-order outside of the deal at Currys is at ShopTo – which is offering the game for £42.85 – which is still over £5 more than the Currys deal.

It's also worth noting that Currys doesn't seem to be offering any pre-order bonuses found at other retailers (such as Game's Elephant Power Up stress ball, or the sticker sheet from Amazon). But considering that Nintendo games rarely go on sale Currys is your best bet for getting the game at a lower price.
