Big Brother fans fume over nominations 'rule breaking' as viewers 'rumble' twist

Big Brother fans were left furious on Wednesday's episode as Hallie and Olivia appeared to "rule break" after they seemingly shared their nominations with each other as they wrote "secret messages" on each other's backs.

During the latest episode, it was revealed that Henry and Zak will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday night's second live eviction of the series. Prior to this, the housemates were all summoned to the Diary Room, where they had to nominate two of their housemates for eviction.

Zak received five nominations from Hallie, Kerry, Chanelle, Jenkin and Henry while Henry received four nominations from Dylan, Olivia, Noky and Jenkin. However, viewers were left both distracted and furious during the scenes as they spotted Hallie and Olivia appearing to "rule break" as they seemingly shared their nominations with each other.

The two appeared to write names and letters on each other's backs as in one scene Olivia said: "N? O?" as Hallie quickly replied: "Okay, stop spelling now!" to which Olivia went: "Yep, yep, got you!" Viewers were left outraged as they accused the duo of "rule breaking" and asked what Big Brother would be doing about it.

Taking to social media, one person said: "@itv @bbuk Hallie and Olivia communicated to each other who they voted for. What are you going to do about it? #BBUK" while a different account put: "@bbuk is Olivia and Hallie not going to get in trouble for breaking the rules and spelling their nominations in secret?? #bbuk".

Elsewhere, some viewers think there could be a twist and that Big Brother might actually add both Hallie and Olivia to the nominations as "punishment" for "rule breaking", which will be aired later this week in a huge twist.

One person said: "Will Bigbrother nominate Hallie and Olivia #BBUK", a different account put: "No way ITV would have shown #Hallie & #Olivia discussing noms if they weren’t gonna do something about it. I’m sure the housemates will be on the sofa at the start of tomorrow’s episode with no hot water. #BBUK" while another viewer added: "Big brother should do a shock elimination where Olivia and Hallie are put up for revealing noms #BBUK."

Later, on Big Brother: Late & Live, it was confirmed that the duo did indeed rule break and will face a punishment on Thursday's show. Host AJ Odudu, 35, said: "I can confirm that we've only had a blooming rule break!

"Big Brother caught Hallie and Olivia drawing housemates' names on each other's backs but don't worry, this didn't effect the outcome of this week's nominations." AJ then teased: "You'll have to tune in tomorrow at 9pm to find out how Big Brother will deal with these two... punishment time!"
