Bellingham and England team-mates hit the town to celebrate Italy win in style
England sealed their spot at Euro 2024 with a 3-1 win over Italy at Wembley and celebrated their triumph in style, with Jude Bellingham, James Maddison, and Trent Alexander-Arnold enjoying a night out.
The trio were spotted at the Chiltern Firehouse following the victory, with Bellingham the star of the show. The 20-year-old won the penalty which Harry Kane scored to draw England level after Gianluca Scamacca gave Italy the lead, before also setting up Marcus Rashford's second-half strike.
Maddison and Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, were unused substitutes having previously featured in England's 1-0 friendly win over Australia on Friday. And ahead of their return to club football, Bellingham, Maddison and Alexander-Arnold celebrated England's success at the 5-star luxury hotel.
Bellingham was seen wearing a black leather jacket, while Maddison donned a backwards baseball cap and Alexander-Arnold wore a plain white tee underneath a chequered shirt. Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack also partied with the footballers following an appearance at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
And with a spot at next year's Euros now assured, Bellingham is confident England can do "something special" in Germany, having finished runners-up at the previous Euros after losing on penalties to Italy.
Klopp's dream Liverpool line up as last-gasp January transfers rejected"As well as the young players, there's a great mix of experience who guide us throughout the game and throughout the camps and there is a belief that we could do something special," Bellingham said after Tuesday's game.
"But it's all about delivering. It's all about when the time comes, being there, being present, being ready to take on the challenge and it's about combining all those things, our past experience and what we have in the dressing room to make sure we're going to be successful."
England boss Gareth Southgate added: "We have to accept the expectation, the reality is we are one of the teams capable (of winning the Euros) - we are comfortable with that. The biggest things - mentality we have, good technical players, good physicality - but we have to keep winning big matches like tonight.
"We showed real composure and took control of the game. There is more to come from this team. This was the toughest qualifying group, with the seedings. People have criticised us for not beating the top teams enough. But we have performed really well.
"So hungry, so eager to learn, so together. And you saw that in the performance tonight. We said before that mentality was the main thing. The performance was relentless tonight. What was really pleasing was that when we went behind we stayed calm and used the ball calmly from the back. In other big games we have lost the ball too easily."
