Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley beamed with joy as he introduced his fifth grandchild to the world.

In a sweet tribute on the ITV programme on Monday, the 67-year-old star announced the exciting news that his son Jack, 37, and Jack's wife Issy welcomed their second child five days ago. Co-star Susanna Reid, 52, said: "And you've been adding to your family, haven't you Richard?"

Richard, who is married to wife Judy Finnigan, 75, and shares Jack and Chloe with her, revealed: "Well I have to say, yes. Little Wren is my fifth grandchild. She's only about five days old." A sweet snap of Richard holding Wren showed up on the screen to give fans a glimpse of the newborn.

Another close-up picture of the baby was also shown. A proud Richard said: "That's little Wren, she's a sweetie." Richard is grandfather to Ivy and Eden - who are the children of wife Judy's twin sons from her past marriage to David Henshaw. He is also grandfather to Bodhi, one, who is the daughter of Chloe and her husband James Haskell. Jack and Issy are also proud parents to Kit, four.

In August, Chloe and the family celebrated Bodhi's first birthday. James admitted it was "scary" how quickly the time had gone. Bodhi was treated to an extravagant bash as she turned one alongside her friends and family. Chloe planned the whole event, while James kept everyone fed on barbecue duty and Richard lent a helping hand by carving the meat and serving the food.

The couple's house was transformed with 300 balloons, decorated archways and a candy cart for the children. “Chloe did an amazing job. It’s not often we can all get together, so it was really nice," James shared with OK!.

Birthday girl Bodhi was unsure about one moment of her big day - a cake smash. The idea is to put a cake in front of children turning one and let them wreak havoc on it, in the hopes of capturing some perfect pics. However, Bodhi had other ideas and didn't fancy getting her hands dirty. Chloe explained she poked her fingers into the cake, had a taste and was done. "She didn’t want to do the full cake smash. She’s no daughter of mine!” Chloe joked.

James also shared how he didn't want to give Bohdi any presents for her birthday. He thought about giving her "a big box with wrapping paper on the outside and wrapping paper on the inside because that’s what she’s more interested in".
