Pink apologised to her fans as she announced that she would be cancelling two upcoming shows due to a family medical emergency.

The So What singer took to social media Monday evening to share the unfortunate news that she will need to postpone two of her shows this week in Tacoma, WA due to an urgent family matter. The famous pop star profusely apologised to her fans for the inconvenience and said that she is working to reschedule her missed shows. The mother of two did not clarify what or who in her family the emergency was for.

The 44-year-old singer wrote in a statement on her Instagram story: "I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed. Live Nation is working on future dates to reschedule. Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all."

The chart-topping singer recently faced backlash from fans during recent shows as some believed that she was flying an Israeli flag during her concerts. But Pink later cleared the air issuing a statement to her followers on X, formerly Twitter, that the only flag she supports is the rainbow flag for LGBTIQA+ rights and continued to reinforce her original stance on the Israeli–Palestinian war that she only believes in "peace" and shared her heartbreak at the "state of the world."

This comes as the iconic Just Give Me a Reason singer is currently on her ninth concert tour. Pink is currently performing in 14 cities across the U.S. following the release of her new hit album Trustfall. Her tour kicked off this month with her first show just last week in Sacramento, California.

Pink announced her latest album during a guest appearance on Good Morning America revealing to fans that she believes it is the "best album she's ever made" adding that she is especially proud of it because of the time and care she spent creating it. She revealed to the news outlet that the album was inspired by hardship she recently experienced with her children getting sick with COVID and her father's death.

She said: "I took time. I had time and I had a lot of really devastating things happen. My son and I got really sick with COVID. That sort of distilled down for me what actually matters. And it takes a crisis to do that." She continued: "My album is a piece of me, and I think that I am an example of how you can live authentically and fearlessly, in ways."
