Pink confronts abuse over 'controversial' concert flag flying amid Hamas attacks
Pink has denied flying an Israeli flag at her live shows after coming under fire from trolls who sent her threats.
The chart-topping star took to X (formerly Twitter ) to issue a statement to her followers explaining that the only flag she supports is a rainbow flag. Pink also reiterated her stance that she only believes in "peace" and shared her heartbreak at the "state of the world."
She wrote: "This post will be controversial for some. At this point, breathing is controversial. I am getting many threats because people mistakenly believe I am flying Israeli flags in my show. I am not. I have been using Poi flags since the beginning of this tour.

Pink hit out at critics of her live show (Getty Images)"These were used many, many years ago by the Māori people in New Zealand and because they and the Māori people are beautiful to me, we use them. I do not fly flags in my show in support of anything or anyone except the rainbow flag.

"That will remain my position. I am a human. I believe in peace. Equality. Love. I am deeply saddened by the state of the world. I pray for all of us."
Her announcement comes after several celebrities in Hollywood have shown their support for Israel including Israeli Wonderwoman actress Gal Gadot, her co-star Chris Pine, Star Wars actor Mark Hamill and Jamie Lee Curtis joined 700 Hollywood names in signing an open voicing their support for Israel in the war which has seen devastating casualties on both sides.

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has since condemned posts on Instagram celebrating violence against Israel.
Meanwhile Palestinian American model Gigi Hadid shared her own statement on the conflict on Instagram. She wrote: "My thoughts are with all those affected by the unjustifiable tragedy, and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict—too many of which are children.
"I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it's a responsibility I hold daily. I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person."
Hadid added: "The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the 'Free Palestine' movement. The idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of back&forth retaliation (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be a victim of) and helps perpetuate the false idea that being Pro-Palestine = antisemitic."
