Dillon Danis admits he didn't train and had no coach for Logan Paul fight

Dillon Danis has admitted he had no boxing training prior to his fight with Logan Paul.

Danis, who made his name in MMA and as a training partner of Conor McGregor, was disqualified in the final round of his bout with Paul in Manchester last night having lost the previous five sessions. He had barely thrown a punch up to the point the fight was called off and his takedown attempt sparked a brawl as security guards waded into the ring.

And Danis has admitted he made no effort to put together a boxing training camp ahead of his debut bout. "A jiu-itsu guy with no boxing camp or coach made his debut, never wobbled, never dropped, had no standing eight count, and rocked you multiple times. If I were Nina (Paul's fiancee), I'd call off the wedding. You achieved nothing in your own sport, MMA next," he wrote on Twitter.

Danis was responding to Paul admitting he didn't feel proud after his first boxing win. "Honestly nothing to be proud about," he said. "That dude sucks, a real c***. I’m going to go back to living my life but felt good to beat his ass for six rounds and let him embarrass himself. Drink Prime."

Once back in his dressing room, the YouTuber added: "'I really wanted to knock him out so badly, but I told myself I wasn't going to go in there and fight with emotion. 'The one thing we did do is beat that f***** b****'s ass."

Paul had also called out McGregor in the minutes after his victory but is more likely to return to professional wrestling with the WWE. "Maybe Conor wants to stand up for his b****, I'll fight him next. Where you at little Leprechaun?" Paul said.

He also called out WWE legend Rey Mysterio, adding: "I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once brother and I'm coming for that US Championship. Let's go!'" Mysterio took to social media to respond: "Did Logan Paul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie. Every Friday Night on SmackDown."
