Aaron Carter's twin sister invites fans to visit his final resting place
Aaron Carter's twin sister, Angel Carter, shared her late brother's final resting place almost a year after his death. Angel took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of some flowers and a memorial plaque at a Los Angeles cemetery. The plaque had an engraving of Aaron's face and said: "In Loving Memory Aaron Carter 1987-2022 Beloved brother, Son, Friend & Father Of Prince Carter."
The 35-year-old captioned her post: "Aaron’s portrait was placed this morning at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. He adored his fans, and I know how much this would mean to him now having a final resting place where we could all celebrate his life."

"I invite you to visit, share your memories, and never forget who Aaron was deep down," she finished the post with a white heart emoji and a dove emoji.
Aaron passed away in November of last year. He was found at home in his bathtub. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said he died of accidental drowning.

This past summer, Angel shared that Aaron was cremated. "I have him here. And for a few months after he died, it was my last way to protect him. I don't want anybody to do anything weird with him. Now, I'm burying him next week at Forest Lawn," she said to People magazine, "I can't trust that anybody else is not going to exploit him. So at that time, that was my last act of love."
Aaron struggled with his mental health and addiction before his death. "He wanted so badly to be happy," Angel said, "He really fought to the end, but he just had too many problems to be fixed. He'd become this person who we no longer recognized. I don't even think he recognized himself."
Besides Angel, Aaron left behind his now 22-month-old son, Prince, with Melanie Martin; his brother, Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter; a sister Bobbie Jean; and his mum Jane.
Angel has opened up about her estranged relationship Jane. She stopped talking to her mum after Jane released photos of the bathroom Aaron was found in after his death. The photos included a bathtub full of green water and photos of soiled clothes and towels on the floor that were supposedly of the area where Aaron died four months prior. Jane claimed she only released the photos to investigate his death, which she thought was due to foul play.
