Una Healy splits from Love Island beau after David Haye 'throuple' drama
Una Healy and comedian Stephen Mullan have reportedly broken up after a brief romance.
In August, it was reported that she moved on from her previous "throuple" relationship with the Irish comic. She even shared a snap of herself supporting the comedian at the Paddy Power comedy festival.
Fans might recognise Stephen's voice from his narrating job on the Australian version of Love Island. Una and Stephen, who "had lots in common", are said to have called time on their romance. Mirror have contacted Una's reps for comment.
A source claimed a few months ago that Una and Stephen were 'hanging out' at the festival with her appearing to be 'very tactile with him'. "They were together in the artist's area and while Una was more quiet Stephen was happily introducing Una to people as his girlfriend," they said.
But now, a source claimed to The Sun: "Una and Stephen had lots in common with their Irish background but realised it was the end of the road for their romance."
Una Healy fans spot throuple with David Haye is back on after cryptic picsUna's representative told the Mirror: "They were never in a relationship, it was just a few dates." It comes after The Saturdays singer, 41, was said to have been in a three-way relationship with the boxer, 42, and model Sian Osbourne, 35. The star and the boxer were romantically linked for many months after allegedly meeting on the celebrity dating app, Raya but Una has since claimed she was "hood-winked".
Earlier this year, she broke her silence on the relationship and insisted she was never part of a "throuple" but was dating David – who was simultaneously dating Sian. In May, Una revealed all about her relationship with David and said she was "hood-winked" by it.
Una explained that she was only dating David - who was simultaneously dating Sian. Speaking to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, she divulged: "Dating HIM is the right term because that's how it was, it wasn't a throuple. We had a lovely relationship."
The mum-of-two added that she had been "hoodwinked" into joining the relationship. She claimed David was the person who pushed the "throuple" narrative. The duo met on the popular celebrity dating app and agreed to be just friends as she was concerned about his past.
"I straight out asked him 'what are you looking for?' because I did a Google and thought 'I'm probably going straight from the frying pan to the fire with this one because he did exactly to his wife what my ex-husband did to me.' I didn't like that," Una explained of the unique situation.
David told her that he was single but that he "didn't believe the traditional relationship exists anymore". However, the pair soon started texting every day and eventually grew closer. "It was casual, it wasn't serious," Una admitted. "I was happy enough with it. It was in a romantic capacity."
