Strictly's Layton Williams becomes close with dancer - but there's 'no romance'

Layton Williams has struck up a close friendship with Johannes Radebe since signing up for the BBC show.

The West End star, 29, who is paired with Nikita Kuzmin, is said to be thick as thieves with Johannes, 36, behind the scenes. One source said: “Layton and Johannes hit it off from the start. They have a similar sense of humour and seem to really get each other.

”Obviously Layton also gets on brilliantly with Nikita, but he and Johannes are real kindred spirits. Layton is seeing someone at the moment, so there’s no romance there.

”But it’s been great for him to have Johannes’s support behind the scenes. Together they are hilarious, a real whirlwind of fun.” Speaking on the Life’s A Beach podcast recently, Layton opened up to Alan Carr about his love life, saying: “I’ve got a man.”

He went on: “It’s new though, it’s only been a soft launch on Instagram. Oh, I think I just did a hard launch - main grid but no tag.”
