Jeremy Renner is said to be in a "critical but stable condition" after being airlifted to hospital due to a "weather related accident".

The 51-year-old actor had to be rushed to the emergency room after he was left seriously hurt following a horrific incident while ploughing snow.

A video of Jeremy using his snow plough has now emerged following the incident, as he said he has "so much respect for Mother Earth".

Last year, the Hawkeye star took to Instagram to share a clip of himself operating a huge plough outside his home at Lake Tahoe as he battled the elements.

"I have so much respect for Mother Earth , and Mother Nature … I expect to lose the fight but I’ll always give it my best shot #tahoelife life #snowthrower," he wrote alongside the video.
