Laura Anderson took aim at trolls who mum-shamed the new parent again this time for taking her newborn baby on a plane.

The former Love Island and Celebs Go Dating star took little Bonnie on her first flight as she shared details about the trip on her Instagram account. But she was met with some criticism - and didn't let the stinging remarks go without a response.

Laura welcomed the tot last month and had shared every stage of her journey. Today she wrote: "What a lovely little trip with my mum being the most amazing help and granny." But one person was quick to criticise her decision and wrote: "Was it really necessary to take such a young baby on a flight? Their ears must have been hurting like mad."

However, soon after Laura snapped back and defended her decision. She barked back: "You feed during take-off and landing so they swallow, she didn't even flinch. In my opinion, it's better for them to get used to travelling at a younger age."

Laura was not the only person to have their say and many fans of the star were quick to support the mum of one. One wrote: "We would never go anywhere if we listened to people like you, it didn’t do my children any harm." Another said: "There’s always one," with a third fan saying: "Well done you did it and well done to your mum for helping out."

The 34-year-old reality TV star last month admitted letting her newborn "cry it out" after she'd seemingly attempted to calm her down and that too provoked mum shaming. Defending herself, Laura wrote: "When I say cry it out I meant about 2.5seconds so I could think of another solution as it was the first time she's cried so hard and I wasn't able to quickly rectify, chill peeps. She skipped a nap and was overtired so it just spiralled."

Laura recently opened up about how she avoided panicking during her challenging birth experience "I just stayed calm because I thought I've got everybody around me that needs to be here doing everything they can so I am a bit better in emergencies like that than like smaller things, if I stub my toe it's the end of the world," she explained.

Laura went on to share she was heavily medicated during this time. Despite the ordeal, she maintained a positive outlook, stating: "Obviously it's all worth it and I would do it all again." However, she didn't shy away from offering some practical advice to others who might find themselves in a similar situation. "But I do think don't be the hero – get the epidural at 4cm. You'll just have a nice time," she advised.
