Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary today - and to mark the special day, Prince Andrew's daughter shared a video of her fairytale marriage that had never been published before.

The clip of the couple's wedding on October 12, 2018, includes the moment they arrived at St George's Chapel, the Royal Standard flying in the wind, Eugenie getting ready for her big day and the princess holding her bouquet of flowers. The video also gives a glimpse of her husband Jack getting ready for the wedding, raising a glass of champagne with his friend and taking photos.

In the video, Eugenie's sister Princess Beatrice and their mum Sarah Ferguson, commonly known as Fergie, can be seen too. Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who were among the page boys and flower girls, also made an appearance in the video.

The clip, captioned "5 years ago today.." with two red hearts, ends with a photo of Eugenie and Jack and their two children, August and Ernest Brooksbank. The two parents were all smiles as their eldest son August looked at the camera in front while standing in front of his dad, and Eugenie held baby Ernest who was wearing a hat and was bundled in a towel.

The pair married in a grand ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor in 2018 with their varied guest list including Eugenie's late grandmother the Queen, all of her royal relatives, supermodel Cara Delevigne and singer Robbie Williams. In fact, more than 850 people packed into the chapel to see Eugenie and Jack exchange their vows. But if you look closely enough at pictures from the day you can see one prime seat at the front of the chapel in front of the former monarch was left empty.

However, it was not down to a no-show on the big day - it is actually down to the late Queen herself. It is because traditionally the monarch and the rest of the royals sit on the right-hand side of the quire in St George's Chapel.

Eugenie is one of a few members of the Royal Family who have a public Instagram presence and often share personal milestones on social media. In June, she announced the birth of her son Ernest on Instagram and in August she shared photos of her and Beatrice to wish her sister a happy birthday.

The family snaps show the two sisters posing on a beach wrapped up in thick coats, scarves and hats before dissolving into a fit of giggles. Praising Beatrice, who turned 35, Eugenie wrote: "Happy birthday to my big sissy.. love you so much xx" - and the post ended up racking up almost 60,000 likes with one fan remarking: "What sweet and lovely sisters you both are! Your devotion and support for each other is so special and priceless!"

Both princesses are nieces of King Charles but neither plays a formal role in his slimmed-down monarchy and hold down normal jobs. However, some experts believe Beatrice could be the royals' "secret weapon" and play a crucial role in healing their bitter rift with Prince Harry. Ninth-in-line to the throne Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are regulars at Royal Family events and are among the royals who retain a strong bond with Harry and wife Meghan Markle.
