Woman's glow-up from 'Kim Woodburn to super model' meant she needed new passport

It's undeniable that as we get older our appearance starts to change, from hairstyles to face shapes and fashion choices.

What we looked like as a teenager can be a complete transformation 10 years down the line - and especially as the number of people deciding to tweak and change their appearance cosmetically has drastically risen too.

But one woman's glow-up over the past ten years has altered her appearance so much, that it's meant she's had to get a new passport as she looks like a completely different person after having a few procedures in Turkey, - she's now totally unrecognisable.

The stunning social media content creator went through a "glow-up" over ten years and shared her drastic comparison of the two passport photos in a TikTok video. After a series of tweaks to her appearance, and admitting she has had a few procedures, she now has her dream look - but it meant she needed a new passport.

Regularly getting stopped and questioned, as her photo looks nothing like how she does now, Lancashire-based Joanne Prophet hilariously shared her travelling ordeals. She started off by showing her new passport photo, and the blonde beauty laughed at how different she looked.

"Finally updated my passport picture after getting interrogated every time I fly because apparently this doesn't look like me," she wrote on her TikTok video. Further explaining the issue, Joanne said: "The reason why I've had to renew it is because I've been to Turkey a couple of times now as you all probably know.

"I got pulled into a room for about an hour and got interrogated by about six Turkish men. So obviously, that was a massive concern and then when I flew back to Manchester, they had to keep looking at the picture and they said you need to get this rectified 'cause it looks nothing like you, and this is why you keep getting pulled."

She explained how the original picture was taken "years ago" as she had just used the same one from her old passport and it was over 10 years old, but admitted she's had a "proper glow up" over the years since it was taken. It's recommended however that passport photos are updated every ten years.

People loved Joanne's hilarious video, and one person made the comparison of her former look and said: "You went from Kim Woodburn to supermodel," and another added: "Quite literally the glow-up of the decade."

However it seems as if this is an issue for others as well, as another TikTok user admitted they had the same issue, they shared: "The Turkish immigration cameras at passport control pick up the slightest change I've only had my nose done and they constantly question."
