Many of us beauty lovers will most likely have been toying with the idea of treating ourselves to an advent calendar to help us get well and truly glammed up over the festive season. Well, if you own a trusty Boots Advantage Card, the brand have launched a one-day deal for holders of these points cards only that'll make the investment slightly sweeter when it comes to your bank balance.

On Thursday, October 12, only, Boots is offering those who have an advantage card £10 credit for every £60 spent in store or online, from electrical items like hair removal IPLs and toothbrushes to skincare and make up.

And with the price of its No7 Ultimate 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar costing £149.95 in store, that means you'd earn £20 back on your loyalty card. So you'd essentially be paying £129.95 for the calendar, if you think about it. - and every saving counts, especially in the lead up to Christmas.

For the 24 Days of Premium Beauty Treats Christmas Advent Calendar, costing £99 and the Macmillan 24 Doors of Joy Beauty Advent Calendar, costing £90, you'll get £10 and a boost to your points - which in the future means eve more beauty treats for you.

While this deal is amazing, if you get your hands on any of the advent calendars in Boots that are less than £60 - take the No7 Protect & Perfect 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar, for example - every every pound spent in the store, Boots will give Advantage Card holders three points, so you're still getting something back.

This isn't the only offer Boots fans can take full advantage of as Christmas draws nearer and the time period in which to buy presents gets less and less. Alongside this one-time deal, the brand has 20% off big names like Estée Lauder, Dior and Sol de Janeiro - among others - for online only today and sees the likes of Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation costing £35.55 instead of nearly £40, Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Jet Set £23.80 instead of £28 and DIOR Sauvage Eau de Toilette £82 down from £97.

And to add to this, Boots has launched its 'Star Gift' sale too (which is on for a little while longer) that sees the price of some items slashed by half, with new items added every two weeks until Christmas.

Sets like Bondi Sands The Iconic Aussie Glow Gift Set is going for £49.50, as opposed to £100, The Ordinary The Smooth & Bright Set is now £29 from £63.40 and the Beauty Works X Boots Ultimate Duo Gift Set, which includes a Beauty Works Professional Styler and The Waver, will cost you £80 down from £166.

Boots isn't the only store making the most of the pre-Christmas rush with Superdrug, LOOKFANTASTIC and M&S all giving shoppers the chance to get some money off. For today only, Superdrug is offering BeautyCard members a free handcream with every purchase over £15, LookFantastic has 50% off brands like ESPA, Olaplex and MAC, and if you get two Benefit, Clinique or Alpha-H products at M&S, you get a gift thrown in.
