According to Pamela Redmond, co-creator of Nameberry, they have found some hints as to what baby names would be popular among the upcoming generations by researching baby name statistics and forecasting trends over the past few decades. It shouldn't be a surprise that unusual names have been predicted, as names that are popular now, such as Angel, Luna, and Arya, were virtually unheard of 30 years ago.
The staff at Nameberry looked through hundreds of names that were given to less than 25 babies in 2020 to find the trendiest names of the future. They discovered monikers that give a futuristic twist to classic names and well-loved themes.
