The Pixel 7 range launched back in 2022 and Amazon's surprise sale may have put it on a lot more shoppers lists

Looking for a smartphone that won't break the bank?

The Google Pixel 7 is definitely worth a look, as Amazon is now selling this affordable handset for £125 less than you'll find on the Google Store. It's the latest mind-boggling deal from Amazon's ongoing Prime Big Deal Day sale, and it might just be enough to tempt Android fans to this year-old Pixel device compared to the newer, shinier Pixel 8, which is still available to preorder following its announcement last week.

The latest Amazon discounts are around until midnight on October 11, but might end earlier if stock runs out. The Pixel 7 now costs just £473.99, that's compared to £599 from the Google Store.

Best of all, Amazon is also bundling an incredible freebie with the Pixel 7 too – a pair of Pixel Buds-A Series, something Google sells separately for £109. Like the phone itself, these Bluetooth earbuds are a slightly older model to the newest Pixel Buds Pro, but are still a worthwhile buy when it comes to wireless listening.

The Pixel 7 and Buds duo usually retails on Amazon for £708.99, which wouldn't usually make the earbuds a freebie at all, but thanks to the Prime bonanza you can make both a huge saving on the phone and bag the Series A buds for free. Not too shabby.

Recently outshone by the swanky new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro handsets the Pixel 7 range is still considered a top handset to buy, and a lot more affordable compared to the likes of Samsung's newest Pixel Z Fold 5 range or the iPhone 15 even though it shares some pretty high-end features.

The 6.3-inch device is built with integrated AI features which help make the running a lot smoother, whilst it's camera features are considered to be one of its best known qualities. This is down to its 50 megapixel wide rear camera and 12 megapixel ultrawide rear camera.

As the Pixel 8 sky rockets to the top of network provider's lists, helped by its new wave of photo editing software and seven years of updates, Amazon's price drop echoes the demand by eager shoppers and one which eBay and Currys are also offering.

Starting with eBay which has a £142 offer on the model, down to £457, whilst the retailer Mobiles.co.uk is offering up a £192 saving across a two year plan with Vodafone. Although, neither retailers are throwing in a pair of Pixel Buds Series A.
