Davante Adams identifies area Jimmy Garoppolo is superior to Aaron Rodgers
Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams has revealed that he feels Jimmy Garoppolo is superior to Aaron Rodgers when it comes to his accountability, aiming a cheeky dig at the now-New York Jet.
The wide receiver is well-placed to compare the credentials of two of the NFL's standout names, having starred alongside the pair during his career. The 30-year-old formed a close partnership with quarterback Rodgers during their time together at the Green Bay Packers.
Remarkably, the former duo connected 624 times for 7,649 yards and 68 touchdowns between 2014 and 2021, making history in the process. During those eight years together, they combined for the the most touchdowns between a quarterback and receiver in franchise history.
However, after both moved on to pastures new, it appears that Adams is formed new close bond with Raiders quarterback Garoppolo. Now, Adams has even revealed how his current teammate is actually effective when it comes to being open to suggestions on how to improve.

Adams agreed to a sensational trade to Nevada in March 2022, leaving behind the Packers for the first time in his glittering NFL career. Speaking of how impressed he has been by the QB's humility in the locker room, he explained to ESPN: "Jimmy's an easy guy to work with.
"He's one of the best that I've been around at any position, let alone quarterback, of taking accountability. Not taking anything away from Derek and Aaron.
But Jimmy does a good job of not coming in acting like he knows everything. He's open to suggestions and me talking through ways that I've done in the past."

This season, he has made 33 receptions for 397 yards and three touchdowns but the Raiders have struggled to a 1-3 start to the campaign.
That said, the three-time All Pro is confident that the team can improve as the season goes on and he remains hopeful that they will rally quickly. He said: "What's most important to me is going to the Super Bowl. I've been to four NFC championship games in Green Bay in eight years.
"So, I've won a lot of games in the regular season. I've got a lot of stats. What I haven't done is check that box of winning the Super Bowl.
Adams added: "I'm trying to create something special here. I can only do so much on my individual end. ... you don't fluke into the Super Bowl; you do it a certain way to win the Super Bowl."
