KSI told "cats hit harder" after footage leaked ahead of Tommy Fury fight

Boxing fans have mocked KSI for leaked footage from his London Shootfighters training camp for Tommy Fury, with some joking that "cats hit harder" than the YouTube star.

The social media sensation has been putting in the camp of a lifetime in order to prepare for Fury, with some footage even showing him struggling to stay conscious while working thoroughly through drills. But in a video that was initially resurfaced by former UFC fighter Darren Till, he can be seen punching the heavy bag slowly.

And after the clip was shared by Boxing Kingdom, fans of the sport from a more traditional background expressed their concerns about his abilities. The Twitter outlet had just days earlier been slammed by KSI for claiming that he wouldn't beat Fury, with the YouTuber telling them to "f*** off", and they were likely retaliating by sharing the footage, believed to be from earlier this year.

"Tommy Fury vs KSI is a massive mismatch by the way," the account with over 117,600 followers wrote. "Massive size difference. Jake Paul isn’t that bad as a pro. Tommy will be much better than that fight, common with those who have limited amateur experience. KSI is athletic but still a YouTuber. Tommy’s now a lower level pro."

KSI clapped back that he "Can’t wait to laugh at you next week," to which they replied "Okay bro. Good luck anyway. I respect you for getting in the ring!" KSI then responded by simply telling them to "f*** off". And they jumped on the chance to take a dig when they noticed Till's video, which was captioned "Good luck to this fella this week. He’s gonna need it."

"I seen cats hit harder than that," one fan wrote after watching the footage, with another adding that "For someone whose spent years training those shots have absolutely no spark to them." Another joked that the punches were "About as devastating as a John Bishop comedy routine," while one wrote "It’s like watching a toddler trying to eat spaghetti for the first time."

Fury is an heavy favourite with bookies for the fight given his pedigree as a lifelong boxer. He has already beaten the consensus No.1 YouTuber-turned-boxer in Jake Paul this February, although he was dropped by the American when they faced off in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.
