Emmerdale second return 'sealed' in new clue amid explosive Aaron comeback

Emmerdale fans are convinced of a second upcoming return after legendary character Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, made an explosive return to the hit ITV soap in a huge twist on Monday night.

Only recently, viewers have been desperate to know who Cain Dingle and Caleb Milligan have been keeping hostage in an empty barn. This was only amplified on Friday night when a suspicious Moira Dingle decided to follow husband Cain to the empty barn, where she confronted him about his odd behaviour recently.

During the scenes, a banging could be heard coming from inside the barn and Moira went running inside to find a bolted door, where she stormed in and saw a man tied up, she then muttered: "You?", leaving fans in suspense.

And the mystery hostage victim was finally exposed on Monday night as Aaron, who was last seen in the village in October 2022 after he left seemingly for good following the death of his sister Liv Flaherty in the deadly 50th anniversary storm week.

It was revealed during the scenes that Aaron has got himself into big trouble during his time in Italy, as he struggled with his grief and becoming estranged with his mother Chas Dingle over her affair with Al Chapman last year. Also during the scenes, Adam Barton was discussed multiple times as it was revealed that Adam had contacted Cain as he was worried about Aaron.

Soap watchers will recall that Adam, played by Adam Thomas, was a staple in the village from 2009 until 2018. During his exit scenes, Adam decided to confess to Emma Barton's murder in a bid to save his mother Moira, who was actually responsible for the death, and he went on the run never to be seen again.

Yet with Aaron's return and the mention of Adam, soap watchers are now questioning whether the latter character could be making a comeback soon too. Taking to social media, one person said: "Hopefully there’s a return on the cards for Adam soon #Emmerdale."

A different account put: "Will Adam be back too #Emmerdale?", another follower wrote: "Interesting that Cain mentioned Adam as well… #Emmerdale" while a different viewer added: "Robert and Adam to return next please! #Emmerdale."
