Maura Higgins' daring look as she leaves little to the imagination at POB Awards

Maura Higgins had all eyes on her as she made a daring entrance to the Pride Of Britain Awards on Sunday evening.

The former Love Island star is known for her turning heads with her red carpet outfits and the POB Awards were no different. The 32-year-old TV personality looked out of this world in a bow-themed look. She rocked a silky black floor-length skirt and a tiny white top fashioned into a bow.

Maura completed the 'bow-tiful' look with a large black bow on her hair, which was slicked back in a tight half-up style. The star stunned with glam makeup and accessorised dangly earrings and a giant statement ring. With one hand on her hips, Maura smirked as she posed for cameras.

Her appearance at the event comes after a busy few months of non-stop work. She won over the public's hearts when her fiery personality stole the show on Love Island several years ago. Ever since then, she gained a loyal legion of fans as she took on projects and brand deals.

She recently worked on the American version of Love Island where she acted as a supporting host but is looking to try her hand at acting. And she will be displaying her comedy skills as reports claim she has landed a role in a new Brit-flick that is filming in Northern Ireland.

The star is reportedly hopeful her role could be the first of many in the acting world. And while cameras are only set to start rolling this weekend, she has reportedly already wowed producers on the project. A source has told The Sun all about Maura’s new role - sharing details of her character, where it is filming, and her hopes for the future.

The source said: “Maura plays a character called Rose in The Spin. It’s a British film which follows two friends travelling through Ireland looking for old music records.” The source continued: “She started work on The Spin over the weekend in Belfast and really impressed the producers… The film could open a lot of new doors for Maura and it’s a very exciting time.”

The source also claimed that film bosses considered Maura the “perfect fit” for her role and it is said she is throwing herself into the new challenge and has demonstrated a drive to learn. The uplifting news comes days after Maura was cast in a bad light when reports emerged to reveal she had been engaged in a blazing argument with a fellow Love Island contestant - which was later refuted.
