Strictly star Saffron Barker's brother in hospital after 'major heart attack'
Influencer and Strictly 2019 star Saffron Barker revealed her older brother Casey Barker suffered a 'major heart attack'.
The 27-year-old and dad of three was rushed into hospital following the medical emergency, but was allowed to return home to rest over New Year's Eve.
Saffron, 22, shared the news as she begged her followers to send 'love' to Casey as he recovers following the health scare.
Social media star Saffron shared a picture of her big brother in a hospital bed as he smiled weakly for the camera but appeared to be in good spirits as he held up a peace sign.

The content creator showed his medication following his hospital visit (Instagram)In a message to her followers, Saffron wrote: "Rest up big bro. Please send all your love to @caseybarker yesterday he suffered a major heart attack, we are so lucky he is still here with us. love you case xxxx."

Casey also shared the news of his health scare on his own social media. The 27-year-old wrote: "Not the way I hoped/ expected to end 2022 but grateful I even get to see 2023.
"Yesterday I had a heart attack whilst home with Nicole and the kids, rushed into hospital and made it just in time to prevent it being fatal. I’m feeling much better and resting up in hospital."

In a selfie with adorable two-month-old daughter Remi, he wrote: "Home and reunited with my baby girl."
He also shared a photo of himself with his other children, daughter Harlow, 5, and son Lake, 3. Casey wrote: "And my big babies have just got back from their NYE party."
Thanking followers for their well wishes, Casey wrote: "Absolutely overwhelmed with all the well wishes.
"Thank you so much, I have tried to reply to as many as possible but there are so many.

Still in good spirits, Casey also shared a snap of his "2023 morning cocktail" with a picture of his medication to help him recover.
He also joked with his followers over not renovating his bedroom before falling ill. Sharing a snap from bed, he joked: "Now I'm bed bound I'm regretting not renovating our bedroom yet. Going to get a TV in here to keep me entertained."

The influencer has promised followers on TikTok that he'll upload a video explaining what happened and how he's recovering.
