Love Island's Laura Anderson looked absolutely stunning at the Pride of Britain Awards in London on Sunday, just weeks after welcoming her first child.

The 34-year-old, who was the runner up on the ITV series in 2018, gave birth to daughter Bonnie last month. She later revealed that the delivery process was very difficult, resulting in her losing 1.6L of blood and requiring stitches after suffering a second degree tear.

Laura's appearance at Pride of Britain on Sunday marks her first red carpet outing since becoming a mother, and by the looks of it, she's more than happy to be back in the spotlight. The Sterling native dazzled in a black dress with beige voluminous detailing, making quite the impression as she smiled for the cameras.

Laura, who had been getting ready since 11am this morning, completed the glam outfit with elbow-length satin gloves and a stunning diamond necklace. She also donned a dainty silver bracelet, yellow matching pearl earrings and a matching purse. As for her hair, Laura had her usual long blonde tresses styled into a slick updo for that ultimate old Hollywood look.

Laura, who shares her daughter with partner and Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy, recently opened up about how she avoided panicking during her challenging birth experience.

"I just stayed calm because I thought I've got everybody around me that needs to be here doing everything they can so I am a bit better in emergencies like that than like smaller things, if I stub my toe it's the end of the world," she explained.

The Daily Mirror Pride Of Britain Awards With TSB this evening will be hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, with the two stars recently sharing their excitement at teaming up once again for the 24th annual event.
Carol has fronted the awards ever since 1999, with Dancing On Ice judge Ashley joining her side in 2021. The duo first met and formed a friendship thanks to Carol taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 alongside Ashley’s brother Jordan – and they’ve grown closer ever since.

“It just feels unique. You see the weight and the gravity of how the night affects not just the winners but everyone in the room. I look forward to it every year. It’s a real honour to get to do it,” Ashley said ahead of hosting the awards this evening, with Carol adding: “It’s just this sort of goodness that’s in the room that you rarely come across as a feeling. It’s gentle, kind and it’s all of the things that we want our lives to be.”
