Corey Feldman's missing jacket was not stolen, despite claims from the star
Corey Feldman's claim that one of his most-loved jackets had been stolen backstage has been cleared up, and it turns out it was just misplaced.
The studded leather jacket was part of his costume in Dream a Little Dream, so it holds quite a bit of both sentimental and financial value. When he realised the jacket was missing, Corey took to social media to write: "I hav some terribly sad news.... I am really torn up over this.... The jacket I'm wearing in this pic was bought by myself w Haim 4 the photoshoot 4 Dream a Little Dream! I hav worn it @ every concert since, until 2nite! As it was stolen from backstage @ my show on Sun in NJ [sic]."
But his manager has now confirmed that it wasn't as bad as he thought, and the jacket is safe and sound. His manager confirmed to TMZ that while he was performing at Homestead Bar & Kitchen in Morristown, New Jersey, an employee found the jacket in a bathroom. According to the restaurant, that is the same bathroom that Corey was getting changed in prior to the show. The employee took it to the office for safekeeping where it was locked away.
But this isn't the first time the iconic jacket has gone missing.

After Dream a Little Dream, Corey also wore the jacket in The Burbs and Married With Children. For Corey, the jacket is a reminder of his late friend Corey Haim. So, when it seemed to go missing, Corey issued a $1,000 reward for the return of his jacket, but it has yet to be confirmed if he actually followed through on that promise.

Granted its not in my hands or on my back, & until it is, I'm not poppin any bottles so 2 speak! However the story is true, my wardrobe girl 4got 2 check a changing rm, & a worker locked it away [sic]."
Corey did say that they tried to phone the restaurant before he made his assumption about a thief. However, when he called, they did say it wasn't there because the employee didn't notify anyone else they had found it. "Fingers X'd I'll get it back next week! [sic]" he said.
